Andrea Anders
Anders, who was raised and born within Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She completed her studies at DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993; and received the Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. She graduated in 2001 and earned a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They met on sets of Joey the show that ended in a sitcom. Sean Anders is her brother. (Sex Drive and The Never Been Thawed). Since 2001 Anders began her career in the theatre. She worked with Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. Then, in The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. On the Jump was her debut appearance on the Arena Stage. New Doors was held at Guthrie Theater. Guthrie Theater. The two New York Stage & Film shows: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody were also created through New York Stage & Film. Anders first appeared in Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on the 7th of May, 2007. She was the character Jeannie who was an accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st of 2007. Anders was first shown on television in the commercial for Dannon that aired in 2006, and then again in the 1990s. Anders one of her most well-known characters include Nicole Allen, a former football player's spouse as in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Anders was on all of the episodes of both shows, but they were cancelled. Anders made guest appearances on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light as well as Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of HBO Drama series Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, and made a minor appearance in the 2004 movie The Stepford Wives, playing her character Heather, and the 2008 movie Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders was also on Numb3rs, which aired in 2008. Anders has appeared in two TV pilots which were unsuccessful. The pilots included Spellbound as well as News To Me. Then, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera comedy about work created by Victor Fresco for ABC.
