Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and film maker. Known for her elegant beauty her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her talent and skills as a performer. Her professional career started as a model for fashion in the year 1970 and she quickly rose to prominence. Then, in the mid 1990s she started studying acting and theatre. Later, after that, in Los Angeles and California she appeared on stage for the first time. Russo first appeared on TV in ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later with Major League, her debut movie. The consistency of her performance has won over the critics, who initially were unsure about her skills as an actor. The performance she gave in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak was a favorite of reviewers, since she could not be compared to Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. But, as she admits she has never been passionate with acting. She was in 2005 when she took to a break, which was forced by herself. In the film Thor it was her return to acting. In addition, she was in Nightcrawler the film that her husband received the Oscar for. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two fun films in which she starred.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female fighters. Her first fight was as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. After joining in the UFC in 2011 she was famous thanks to the popularity she had achieved on and off the Octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose was a basketball player and kickboxing as she grew to maturity. at the age of 18, she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships where she fought two times by submission. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 at age 22, she signed to fight as a strawweight with UFC. Rose has experienced the highs and lows of her career. But she has always come out the winner. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won Fighter of The Night. This was the first time a woman was able to fight a big promotion in a title fight. Namajunas was able to win several other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
